The police were called just before 7 a.m. on Tuesday after a member of the public found the deceased person.
"It is currently unclear when the possible crime was committed," says Stefan Larsson, press spokesperson for the Central Police Region.
A preliminary investigation into a murder has been opened. Parts of the scene have been cordoned off for a technical examination and police are conducting door-to-door enquiries in the area.
