The police are investigating a suspected murder after a woman was found dead in an apartment in Stockholm.
The police were called to the apartment with information about an illness or cardiac arrest, but since a crime cannot be ruled out, a preliminary investigation into murder has been opened.
"When we got there, we found the woman deceased in the apartment and her partner was also in the home. There are certain circumstances surrounding this death that mean we cannot completely rule out that a crime has occurred," says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson for the police.
The man was arrested by police and a technical examination is now being carried out in the apartment.
