The police are investigating a suspected murder in Östersund since a man in his 50s was found dead in a residence on Wednesday evening, reports Östersunds-Posten.
A man in his 60s was arrested in connection with the residence a few minutes after the police arrived at the scene at around 23:30. He was later detained suspected of murder.
The scene of the suspected crime is cordoned off for technical investigation.
The police are currently providing few details about the incident but state that they will release more information on Thursday.
