An injured man was found early Thursday morning in Frölunda, Gothenburg. The man later died from his injuries. A preliminary murder investigation has been opened, the police say.
"We have quite large cordons at the scene and still have a couple of patrols conducting door-knocking and taking testimonies," says Jennifer Last, press spokesperson for Police Region West.
"It's an area with many apartment buildings, so it will take a while," she says.
The police cannot say what type of injuries the man had. No one has been arrested or is suspected at this time.
