Next week, a suspected major fraudster will be extradited from Spain to Sweden, according to prosecutor Veronica Närfors for SVT News Blekinge.
The 36-year-old man, who is from Blekinge, has previously been convicted of defrauding nearly 90 people of a total of 85 million kronor. Now he is suspected of defrauding private individuals into investing millions in alleged real estate deals in Spain.
According to the prosecutor, 45-50 people are suspected of being defrauded of approximately 35 million kronor. The crimes are being investigated by the Economic Crime Authority in Stockholm.
