According to police, several witnesses raised the alarm about an incident that occurred in a parking lot in a residential area on Monday evening.
"They have interpreted it as a person being taken away from the scene against their will. We are investigating what happened," Emma Jutemar, the head of the preliminary investigation in the case, told TV4.
The identity of the person and of any possible perpetrators is still being investigated.
"We have filed a report of kidnapping, which we are now working on. We have searched for cameras in the area and knocked on doors," said Emma Jutemar.
