Sunday's planned trotting race at Umåker, outside Umeå, will not take place. Instead, the competitions, which are part of the Grand Slam 75 format, will be moved to Bergsåker in Sundsvall, reports Aftonbladet.
The reason is that two horses fell ill at Umåker, after which the stable area was isolated.
"Umåker's entire stable area is isolated until further notice as there is suspicion of a contagious disease in a stable on the track," writes Swedish Trotting Sport on its website.
