Two suspected dangerous objects have been found outdoors in a residential area in Sätra in southern Stockholm. No person has been injured.

The first object was found at two o'clock on Sunday afternoon. At half past five, the police announced that another suspected hazardous object had been found during the operation, near the first one.

We have several resources on site, says the police's press spokesperson Anna Westberg.

The police do not want to go into what type of object it is. An area was cordoned off and residents in the vicinity were asked to stay indoors. The National Bomb Protection was called to the scene.

At 19.30, the police announced that the objects were no longer considered hazardous and will be transported away from the site.

A preliminary investigation into attempted gross general destruction has been initiated. Several investigative measures are being carried out, including the police working on going through footage from surveillance cameras.
