Police and the national bomb squad were deployed after an alarm about a suspected dangerous object in an apartment in Nyköping. At lunchtime on Thursday, the police announced that the object is not live and that the blockades at the site have been lifted.
The operation has thus been completed and all residents of the apartment building who were evacuated have been able to return to their homes.
The incident is being investigated as unlawful threats. There is no suspect or arrested person.
