A man had a suspected grenade thrown through the window of his residence in Härryda outside Gothenburg during the night to Thursday.
The property was evacuated and the national bomb squad was called to the site to secure the object. Whether it was a live grenade is currently unclear.
Technicians and the bomb squad have been on site. But what it's about, I cannot comment on, says police's press spokesperson Helene Ramsmo to TT.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and serious offense against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods. No suspect has yet been arrested.
