A suspected dangerous object was found at a colony area in Eslöv on Friday afternoon, when a private individual performed gardening work.
The police's press spokesperson described it to P4 Malmöhus as "a grenade-like object in metal", which lay in the ground. Since the police patrol that responded could not determine whether the object was live or not, barricades were set up and the national bomb squad was called in.
At 5:50 pm, the police announced that bomb experts had examined the object and assessed it as harmless, whereupon the barricades could be lifted.
