Five people have been taken to hospital after a traffic accident on highway 25 in Alvesta municipality. The extent of the damage is unclear.
Two cars were involved in the incident that occurred at 4 pm. The police do not want to go into any details about what happened, but one of the drivers, a man in his 50s, is suspected of gross negligence in traffic and drunk driving.
We are still interviewing witnesses, says the police's press spokesperson Patric Fors.
