The Norwegian was arrested in Oslo just a few hours after the suspected double murder in Gothenburg in September, but has opposed an extradition. Now he has however been taken to Sweden.

Ole Kristian Holtsmark, prosecutor with the Norwegian police, confirms to Nettavisen that the murder suspect, a man in his 30s, was extradited to Sweden on Thursday morning.

He is suspected of having shot and killed the two men who were found dead in a car in Lunden, Gothenburg on September 2. He was arrested during the following night after a dramatic car chase in central Oslo.

The man denies the allegations, but has claimed that he himself risks being murdered in Sweden and has therefore opposed the extradition.
