The alarm about the object on Adlerfelts väg in Malmö came from the public at 1:19 p.m. The object was found next to an apartment building.
The site was cordoned off and the national bomb squad was called in for a closer inspection.
According to the police, the object is deemed harmless and the blockades have been lifted.
