The police were called at 5 p.m. on Tuesday to Lindholmspiren due to a suspected dangerous object in the water.
The object was deemed to be sharp and has now been defused by the bomb disposal unit.
The site remains cordoned off for a technical investigation.
The case is being investigated as a serious violation of the Flammable and Explosives Act. There are currently no suspects.
