The police were alerted on Saturday morning about a suspected dangerous object in a forest area in Partille, by Björndammen. The national bomb squad has been on site and examined the object, which is deemed harmless, the police write on their website.
A technical investigation will be conducted and a report on blue light sabotage and unlawful threats has been filed.
It was a person who saw the object and became suspicious and alerted the police at around 9 am on Saturday. The police then cordoned off the area.
