The alarm from the public about the object, which according to the police was attached to a truck, came shortly after 8 p.m. An area was cordoned off and nearby residents were evacuated.
But at 9:35 p.m., the national bomb disposal unit, after working at the scene, was able to assess that the object was harmless.
