A suspected dangerous object was found at a recycling center in central Halmstad and the location was cordoned off.
The National Bomb Protection Agency then assessed the object, which turned out to be a spare battery, as harmless.
According to the police, the alarm came from a member of the public who saw the object.
The alarm came at 3:04 p.m. and about an hour later the operation was called off.
