"That is correct," says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The alarm was received from the public at 07:20 on Wednesday morning. The police initially had difficulty determining whether the object was dangerous and called the national bomb disposal unit. After an investigation, it is clear that it is a hand grenade.
A report of attempted serious public endangerment and vandalism has been filed. No suspect has been identified, and it remains unclear whether there was any threat to the company in question.
"It's something the investigation will look into," says Olsson.
Parts of Jägersrovägen and Agnesfridsvägen were closed during the morning, which affected traffic.
