The suspected object found at a recycling station in Katrineholm on Saturday evening turned out to be harmless, reports Eskilstuna-Kuriren.
The police were alerted to the incident at half past ten on Saturday.
It's a person who found a box containing objects that could be dangerous, said Linus Maxe, commander at the police's regional command center, to the newspaper at the time.
The national bomb squad was sent to the scene, but could confirm at 4 am that the object was not live.
It was wooden pieces and cables wrapped in some kind of paper.
