A suspected dangerous object was found shortly after 3:30 pm on Saturday afternoon outdoors in a residential area in Akalla, northwest of Stockholm, reports P4 Stockholm.
The police cordoned off the area and examined the object. It turned out to be a training grenade that was not live, the police write on their website.
The object could quickly be handled by the patrols on site and the incident is classified as theft and violation of the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods.
