A suspected dangerous object was detonated by police on a beach in Trelleborg on Tuesday evening.
It was deemed dangerous enough that it could not be handled in any other way, duty police officer Peter Martin told SVT.
The area was cordoned off and checked with drones, among other things, before the operation. There are no suspicions of a crime.
