The police are investigating a suspected attempted murder in Uppsala. At 5 pm, the police were alerted that a person had been subjected to a violent crime in the Sala backe district.
There is no information that it would involve firearms, says the police's press spokesperson Maria Hall.
The person has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is not known.
The police have cordoned off an area. No suspect has been arrested.
