It is reasonable to believe that the crime tool is a larger knife, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The man was found in the Gröndal district early Thursday evening and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police are now searching, including with dog patrols, for people seen by witnesses running from the scene. They are also reviewing surveillance cameras, interviewing people who may have information, and have police at the hospital.
