"We have a preliminary investigation into attempted murder," police duty investigation officer Jonas Jos told the newspaper.
The police do not want to go into the gender of the injured person.
Another violent crime has also occurred elsewhere in Märsta, however it is being investigated as aggravated assault and the police do not believe the cases are related. In that case, one person has been taken to hospital and one has been arrested.
