A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in Märsta north of Stockholm on Saturday night.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance after being subjected to violence and the crime is classified as aggravated assault.
According to the police, the suspect man and woman are "not unfamiliar" with each other.
