The large fire at the waste facility Heljestorp in Vänersborg over the weekend is suspected to have been arson. It has therefore been reported to the police, reports P4 Väst.
That it would self-ignite at 4-5 different locations on different parts of the facility at the same time feels fairly unlikely, one has to say. That's why we chose to report it to the police, says department head Tommy Ohlsson to P4.
It was on Saturday afternoon that the fire started at the waste facility. The heavy smoke led to a VMA (important message to the public) being sent out.
