The 21-year-old man, who is employed at the hotel where the One Direction singer died in October last year, turned himself in at a police station in Barracas south of Buenos Aires on Monday, according to an Argentine police source for the AFP news agency.

Last week, the police arrested a 24-year-old hotel waiter, also accused of having supplied Liam Payne with drugs.

In total, five people have been charged with involvement in the artist's death. The manager of the hotel where the death occurred and an employee are suspected of manslaughter. Also, a person described as a close friend of Liam Payne has been charged with the same crime.

According to the prosecutor, Payne had consumed cocaine, alcohol, and a prescription antidepressant medication before he fell to his death from a balcony at Hotel Casa Sur in Buenos Aires on October 16 last year.
