An 18-year-old man who is suspected of a fatal shooting at a gas station in Osby in northern Skåne has been released after two months in custody, local media reports.
A 22-year-old man died after being shot on October 16 and the 18-year-old was arrested a few hours later.
The prosecutor explains the release by saying that the suspicions have weakened, partly due to the results of the technical investigation.
He is still reasonably suspected of involvement in the murder, but I cannot say that he is suspected on probable grounds anymore, says prosecutor Marie-Louise Holmberg to Kristianstadsbladet.
The 18-year-old has consistently denied involvement.
