The 20-year-old was arrested on Friday on suspicion of two counts of aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery and attempted aggravated rape.
The suspect arrested in Germany had previously been detained in absentia.
"When the man arrested in Germany eventually arrives in Sweden, a new detention hearing will be held," says prosecutor Viktor Wetterö in a press release.
A 25-year-old man who was arrested on Thursday has been released. A boy under the age of 18 who was arrested has also been released. They have not been removed from the investigation.
The crimes were committed against four people, all over 80 years old, over two weeks in late December and early January.
