A person is suspected after last week's fire in a mosque in Uddevalla. The suspect was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and has been detained by the prosecutor, writes the police on their website.
The fire occurred on Friday night.
According to the initial information, a Molotov cocktail had been thrown into the premises. It later turned out that someone had entered the mosque, poured out a flammable liquid, and then set it on fire, local media have reported.
People who were in the mosque were able to put out the fire before the rescue services arrived.
Corrected: In an earlier version of the notice, the wrong weekday was stated when the suspect was arrested.
