I have once again initiated a preliminary investigation into murder in this case where a person was previously acquitted. But I can not say more than that since it is very early in the investigation, says prosecutor Henrik Tjäder to the newspaper.
The person was arrested on Wednesday morning after having been detained in their absence and is suspected of the murder that occurred in Lammhult on May 5, 2023.
A 57-year-old man was arrested shortly thereafter as a suspect, but was later acquitted by Växjö district court.
