The suspect turned himself in on Friday morning after police published a picture of him on Wednesday. A detention hearing will take place at Copenhagen District Court at 12:30.
The incident occurred in connection with the round of 32 match between Norway and Ivory Coast being shown on a big screen in the Islands Brygge district. Later in the evening, Sweden's match against France was to be shown.
A fight broke out and a Swedish man in his 30s was seriously injured and taken to Rigshospitalet.
"The case is still under investigation and we currently have no further comments," writes Copenhagen Police.
