For a month, a blocked budget in Congress has meant that the US government has been shut down.
And many think it's Trump's fault. At least according to an Ipsos poll commissioned by ABC News and The Washington Post. 45 percent of those surveyed see Republicans as responsible. 33 percent instead think it's the Democrats' fault, while 22 percent are unsure.
But the United States is a divided country. 81 percent of Democratic voters blame Republicans, while 72 percent of Republican voters blame Democrats.
Independent voters blame the Republicans to a greater extent, 46 percent, while 23 percent point to the Democrats.
The survey involved just over 2,700 randomly selected people across the United States.
