Approximately 51 percent of Americans who responded to the survey believe that Trump's mental acuity has deteriorated in the past year.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll, which was completed on Monday, found that 26 percent of the 4,557 respondents said they saw Donald Trump as “calm and collected.” Among Republicans, the figure is 53 percent, compared with 7 percent among Democrats.
36 percent of respondents said they thought Trump was doing a good job, unchanged from last month.
