"After one of the away team's goals, objects were thrown from the stands towards the goal scorer, and this is what UEFA is punishing Hammarby for", writes Hammarby on its website.

It was a coin that was thrown towards goal scorer Khadija Shaw, who celebrated the goal in front of Hammarby's supporters.

I was surprised. I have never been in such a situation before. But I just tried to stay calm and think that it's part of the game, said Shaw after the match.

Hammarby was fined after the home match in the Champions League against Manchester City, which was played on November 21.

The fine for the thrown objects amounts to 6750 euros, approximately 77,000 kronor.

Hammarby condemned Shaw's celebration in front of the Hammarby stand.

It's disgusting. You shouldn't do that to our fans, said Cathinka Tandberg.
