The Italian football club is in 15th place in Serie A, three points above the relegation zone. In the last eight matches, the team has lost six, and after this weekend's defeat to Genoa, head coach Marco Baroni was fired.
Even before Torino's decline, club owner Urbano Cairo, who has owned the club since 2005, has been criticized for not being ambitious enough.
