The Indian film certification board, CBFC, has removed two kisses in the film, including a 33-second long kiss where Superman and Lois Lane are hanging in the air. This has led to protests from the Indian film industry on social media, reports Variety.

"Beheadings and bloody violence in (the film) Jaat. But… when Superman kisses Lois Lane, that's where the line is drawn” writes a person on X.

This is not the first time a film has been censored in India this year. In "F1" starring Brad Pitt, a middle finger emoji was replaced with a fist and in the film "Thunderbolts" swearwords were removed.
