Sunday's Super League match between Liverpool and Aston Villa is postponed at short notice.
This after the former Liverpool coach Matt Beard has passed away, 47 years old. Beard came to Liverpool in 2012 and led the team to Super League titles in both 2013 and 2014 and returned in 2021 and was involved in taking Liverpool back to the top division. He left earlier this year for Burnley.
Beard has also been coach for Boston, West Ham and Bristol City.
In Liverpool, the Swedes Cornelia Kapocs and Beata Olsson play.
