Large parts of Sweden can look forward to a sunny weekend. But when the week leading up to Easter begins, it appears to become more unstable weather.

On Saturday, high pressure will bring relatively sunny weather to the southern and central parts of the country, although some clouds may appear in certain areas.

The temperature-wise, many places will reach around 15 degrees, says Caroline Vahlberg, meteorologist at SMHI.

Sun mixed with clouds is also expected in parts of Norrland, but it will also be windy there.

In the Lapland mountains, there are some snow showers that can move in. Some snow showers may also pass over the northern Norrland coast and inland.

On Sunday, the country will become cloudier, but the temperatures will hold. And it may even get a little warmer during the day compared to Saturday.

In the evening, it looks like rain may move in from the southwest over Götaland.

How the weather will be during the week leading up to Easter is a bit harder to predict. It looks like the weather may become more unstable at times. At the same time, it is expected to remain relatively warm.

We may get some precipitation areas, but it's very uncertain track on them, says Caroline Vahlberg.
