According to sources for the Swiss Blick, the Swede has pressed players with injury concerns too hard in training.
Sundhage is said to have, among other things, told players to "think before they choose to opt out of a training session". This even though the team's medical team has advised players against training. The newspaper claims to have information about a specific case where this is said to have occurred.
Prior to a training match, she is also said to have made it clear to the team that those who cannot play the match also reduce their chances of taking a place in the squad.
During the Monday morning, Sundhage addressed the allegations at a press conference.
It is not a pleasant rumour, but it is still a rumour. We talk every day, and I think we are doing a good job so far, says Sundhage according to Blick.
The Swiss Football Association has not wanted to comment on the allegations.
