Manchester City's 0–0 draw away to Sunderland, who remain undefeated at home, ended a particularly low-scoring Premier League evening.
The big winner was Arsenal, without playing. With 45 points, the league leaders hold a small gap over City heading into the second half of the season.
It was also 0–0 when Brentford hosted Tottenham, who were without Lucas Bergvall, who was injured.
Earlier in the evening, Liverpool were chasing a fourth straight league victory, but their game also ended goalless at Anfield when Leeds visited.
The only Premier League goal of the evening was scored in the London derby between Crystal Palace and Fulham. Substitute Tom Cairney rescued a point for Fulham with his 1-1 equaliser in the 80th minute.
