Speakers from almost all of Europe, but also from Argentina, among others, are currently participating in a summit in the Swedish Riksdag, invited by Speaker Andreas Norlén and Ukrainian Speaker Ruslan Stefantchuk. Representatives from, among others, the EU Parliament and the Nordic Council are also participating.
The meeting takes place within the framework of the so-called Crimea Platform and is intended to highlight the consequences of Russia's annexation of Crimea and increase pressure on Russia. The Platform was launched in 2021 and is an international consultation and coordination forum.
At the end of the meeting, a joint final document will be adopted.
