It will be no more "Summer with Ernst" on TV4 for the viewers. In the very last program, Ernst Kirchsteiger thanks for the fifteen seasons.
"After 15 fantastic summers with 'Summer with Ernst' I have now chosen to let this year's season be the last. It feels completely right to finish when the joy and creativity are at the top. I feel a deep gratitude to be able to round off something for me so fun and meaningful in just this way", he writes in a post on Instagram.
Kirchsteiger continues by thanking the viewers, his team, his family and TV4 and concludes:
"Thanks to you all. We will see when and where we meet again, one thing is certain, I have a lot of creative desire left".
"Summer with Ernst" premiered in 2008. Kirchsteiger had then led "Sommartorpet" on SVT for seven years before that.
The last episode of "Summer with Ernst" is broadcast on July 24 on TV4.
