The streaming service HBO's new series about Harry Potter is to be directed by Emmy winner Mark Mylod, reports The Wrap. He will also be executive producer, a role he held for the now-concluded TV drama "Succession". Previously, he has directed several "Game of Thrones" episodes and the film "The Menu".
Francesca Gardiner, who wrote certain "Succession" episodes, will also have a leading role as executive producer and creative producer – so-called showrunner.
