Shooting king Erling Braut Haaland's 1–0 as early as the ninth minute seemed to hold up.

Haaland combined with Tijjani Reijnders, got a free chance and could make his fifth goal for the season.

Arsenal led the game, but for a long time seemed to be biting on an equalizer in the hunt.

However, in the third added minute, the London team struck.

Gabriel Martinelli, substituted in in the 80th minute, lobbed ice-coldly over Gianluigi Donnarumma in the City goal and could celebrate together with Gyökeres and the other teammates in Arsenal.

The cross was however a win for the reigning champion team Liverpool in the hunt for a new title.

Liverpool has gone clean after five rounds and leads with a five-point margin ahead of just Arsenal, third Tottenham and fourth Bournemouth, who all have ten points.

Manchester City is in ninth place with seven scored points.
