"We have received some good news as 50 students have escaped and been reunited with their parents," writes the organization Christian Alliance of Nigeria.
The evacuations are said to have taken place on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, armed assailants stormed a Catholic school and abducted children and school staff at gunpoint. On Saturday, it was announced that the total number of people abducted was 315. Earlier, it was reported that at least twelve were teachers.
No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping. As recently as Monday, 25 schoolgirls were abducted by gunmen in a separate attack on another school.
