Several people were injured when fireworks were fired inside a school in Veberöd outside Lund on Tuesday morning.

The police were alerted to the school after 12 o'clock and the initial suspicion of crime is assault.

It is about a so-called air bomb, reports Sydsvenskan. It is a firework that is shot out of a tube and forms a predetermined pattern at the explosion.

Some students are lightly injured, but did not need to seek medical care. They are being taken care of. The school staff is calling their guardians, says the operations manager Viveca Dahl to the newspaper.
