The 18-year-old student has now been charged with defamation, reports Sydsvenskan .
The teacher had concluded that a high school assignment submitted contained some plagiarism. The student was given a few days by the principal and teacher to correct it, but instead chose to post a clip on Tiktok, where she gave the teacher's first name and claimed that he was in a relationship with another student. The clip managed to get just over 4,000 views.
"It's about a revenge attack against a grading teacher who is just doing his job," prosecutor Maja Källén told the newspaper.
What is true is that the teacher is living with a former student, whom he became involved with after she left school. The accused student defends herself by saying that she wanted to hear how others reacted to this.
