"The interim solution needs to be someone who knows the Allsvenskan. Then we'll work on the long-term plan and see which names emerge," club manager Jesper Westerberg told the newspaper earlier this week.
Baxter, who was at the club from 1988 to 1991, was a mentor to the fired Lindholm and has coached clubs in Norway, Portugal, Japan, Turkey, South Africa and India, and has been national team coach for Finland and South Africa.
