It's recent bad weather that's forcing Japan to move around in Monterrey in search of a suitable football pitch to practice on.
"It's due to bad weather, so there's nothing we can do about it. We just want to make sure we can prepare carefully," said Masakuni Yamamoto, technical director of the Japan Football Association.
Next week, Japan will move its base to Nashville, Tennessee. The team will open with a match against the Netherlands on June 14 and conclude its group stage against Sweden in Dallas.
